 All files Should be extracted and must reside in the same directory.

 To install the software unzip the file  ‘ LMS_sim.zip’  and save the program files in he root  directory  or  in the directory you have selected from which to run the program.

The free CNC program is supplied with the parameters in the customisation file LMS.CST set for a software ONLY installation, this is a simulation  mode and the LMS interface card is not required.

The display format will depend on which operating system you are using. The

 MS-DOS 7.10 Installation

===============================

Disk1  is mandatory for installing MS-DOS 7.10 onto your system.

What is an image (.IMG)file?

An image file is an exact copy of the disk format and data which is produced by READING the electronic bit pattern recorded on the disk media.

Copying an image file to a new disk will not make a usable disk, this can only be achieved by WRITING the  image file to the new disk.

Reading & Writing Image files is supported by many DOS/WIN programs, such as HD-COPY, Disk Copy Plus, WinImage, VMWare, Virtual PC, and many more. By the way, .IMA(called by WinImage), .FLP(called by VMWare) and .VFD(called by Virtual PC)

are just renamed versions of the .IMG format.

Disk2 is optional and is only required if you select the ‘FULL installation’ when prompted by the setup program.

The ‘bootdisk’  will boot  MS-DOS 7.10 from the floopy drive and includes the dos programs FDISK.EXE and FORMAT.COM .

Booting the system  from this disk should only be necessary if the hard disk needs re-partitioning or formatting.

To install DOS from a CD download the DOS71CD.ISO file. Burn this file to a blank CD and boot the system from the new CD.

The  WinImage software can be downloaded.
